Our full privacy policy is available in the app and here. This page summarises how Yo-Tag handles your data.

What we collect

When you sign up, we collect the minimum needed to operate the service: your phone number (for OTP verification and account recovery), your chosen tag, and any contacts you explicitly add for lost-phone recovery. We do not collect location data continuously; we use location only when you actively search the directory.

Calls and messages

Calls on Yo-Tag are real-time and peer-to-peer through our VoIP infrastructure. Call audio is never stored or recorded. Call metadata (who called whom, duration) is stored so you can see your own call history.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from the settings screen in the app. Account deletion removes your personal data within 30 days, with minimal audit records retained where legally required. You can also request a full export of your data by emailing support@yo-tag.com.
